Schools Program

Innovation in environmental education

Rent the World offers a it’s unique schools program. The program introduces topics such as earth science, and ecology.  We engage students in discussion on what it means to be a global citizen, and work with them to build projects that are based on the ethic of planetary culture.

Our workshops are an opportunity for students to actively engage in finding solutions to environmental issues at school. Using Rent the World’s ‘rental agreement’ as a tool for engagement, we work directly with student’s to bring their ideas on being a good environmental citizen of our shared home, Earth.

Student’s work together to come up with ideas that can be implemented at the school level.  Some examples of projects are

  • tree planting & clean up days
  • DIY veggie patch
  • environmental film festival
  • environmental debate
  • school compost.
